    可约翰森拦在了两人中间，一脸不悦，并不打算让对方带着杰西离开。

    但他的举动却引来了好几个警务人员，将他和那个女警务隔离开来。

    “Sir, this is our job. please cooperate.”

    “It’s all right Johns, I ill go ith you. ”杰西从约翰森的背后绕过，跟着那位女警务来到了检查室。

    约翰森显然也是想跟来，但是却被那几个警务拦在了原地。

    身后的铁门落锁，从房间里的内室走出了一个人，藏蓝色的制服，那是杰西许久未见的颜色。

    “Sheriff!”杰西向那个看着已经五十多岁的男人敬了一个礼，这个动作她已经阔别了一年多了。

    那是他们禁毒局的局长，希克斯（hicks）警长。

    希克斯面带微笑，阔步走向杰西“Fox, congratulation on taking the first step.”

    他的眼神还是一如既往地坚定有神，笑容依旧是和蔼可亲。

    “but no, I have a temporary task for you.”

    她不自觉地立正，向希克斯点零头

    “Yesterday, anti-government forces mistakenly captured three foreigners, and their country has sent troops to rescue them.”

    到这里，希克斯拿出了一个型的电子设备，塞进了杰西的耳朵里。

    “Your task is to find out the exact location of the hostages and tell me. Also, before speaking, cough tice as a reminder. ”

    “Yes, Sheriff!”

    “I can give you a hint.”希克斯伸出了他那略显苍老的手将杰西裙子上的褶子拍平“You have to let the leader of anti-government army kno that you can speak chinese.”

    “ok, I remembered.”

    “be careful, not to approach that place after knoing the location information. those soldiers only kno you code name is‘Fox’.”

    杰西点着头，不过这个点倒是她也想到了。

    等到顺利传出位置信息后，她就需要‘龟缩’在角落了。

    毕竟那时她在敌方阵营，随意靠近人质被困地点都有可能被对方派出的军人给干掉。

    “those soldiers should have arrived, they ill move at night.”希克斯看了一眼时间，现在是上午的九点三十分“there is not much time left for you.”

    “I see.”

    “Good luck ith you mission. 极.地.赤.狐.”希克斯用他那非常蹩脚的中文喊出了杰西给自己取的中文代号。

    她好像看到了老者眼睛里的雾，雾后是一整片被阳光所笼罩的热带雨林。

    “Looks like Ivor told you all about it.”杰西露出了一个明媚的微笑

    “of course.”

    “do you kno hat he is?”

    希克斯了然一笑“极.原.猎.豹.”

    “hat you said is pretty standard.”

    这时，希克斯又看了一眼墙上挂的时钟，将笑容重新收回“ell, it’s time for you to go back.”...
